Birds Commonly Seen and/or Heard In and Around Greyton Mountains and Farmlands: One only needs to take a short walk into the mountains and hills around Greyton, or drive along the R406 towards Caledon (to the south west) and eastwards towards Riviersonderend, or on the network of local roads, and it soon becomes obvious what a wealth of bird-life exists in the area.
